However, I might have to see it just to satisfy my own personal curiousity.
This is one of my all time favorites and I am glad that it is now on DVD.
I along with, I imagine, most people watching this movie had the ending all figured out in my head - or so I thought until one of the best twists I can think of in a thriller - and was just waiting to see how and when they were going to prove me correct. An airline pilot that the psychiatrist recently started dating turns out to be having an affair with the patient. Hardly surprising when almost all the characters are psychiatrists, detectives or patients on the therapists couch. When someone is murdered, the psychiatrist must decide whether the lover is a homicidal maniac or someone who loves her. The main theme of the movie is what happens when love is blind and you trust your instincts rather than the sober voices of friends around you.The Gilchrists are just the average American family dealing with all the everyday issues, like a grown kid whos forced to move back home, teenagers who are smarter than their teachers and a stepmom (Jenna Elfman) desperately trying to win over the kids. In other words, just like everyone else - with one exception: they live in a very special house. "24" is a TV thriller presented in "real time" with each minute of airtime that corresponds to a minute in the lives of the characters."24" employs fast-paced and complex stories, and often contains unexpected plot twists. The show follows the journey of a time traveler, Cole, from the post-apocalyptic future.
