In 1972, he was stationed at Da Nang AB in Vietnam where he flew Gooney Birds, the EC-47, on reconnaissance missions.He was stationed at RAF Mildenhall, UK in the 10th ACCS flying EC-135s.
He loved statistics and noted how many sorties and air refueling missions he had flown and even how much fuel he had transferred in his career.
He was born October 5, 1961, in Rapid City, SD, to Donald L. Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Alta R. Celebration of life will be on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from to p.m.

He was interested in drafting and architecture, fencing, art, and held a black belt in Kung Fu. He even wrote family history books and his autobiography. Bill is survived by two brothers, Douglas Scroggins, Golden Valley, AZ, and Raymond Neuharth, Boise, ID; one sister, Grace Chittick, Huntsville, AR; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helmuth and Violet Neuharth; and siblings, Milo, Elaine, and David.
Much of his 2nd tour was in the Middle East doing intelligence work.
